Flat Tire Takes Belyea Out of Contention at Brighton; Excel Tower Service Sprint Car in Action This Week With Charlie Sandercock Behind the Wheel Craig
Revelle – Finish Line Web Design
The
night started out well for Greg Belyea, grabbing the win in his qualifying
heat race, and after making some minor changes before the feature, he
would start the 30 lap main event from third.
Not long into the race however, the handling started to go away,
and soon Belyea had to pit for a flat tire. After
returning to the race, Belyea had a fast car, but was laps down to the
leaders, and would finish 11th. “It
was another disappointing finish, but at least this time the car performed
well”, says Belyea. “We
will be back next week, and hopefully we can have a good night, and maybe
get that first win of the season”.
